Delete your SimRoutes data

SimRoutes by TheSocialButterflies · Last updated October 9, 2026

SimRoutes has no user accounts. You can ask us to delete the small amount of data we hold about your app installation at any time by emailing team@thesocialbutterflies.co.

How to request deletion

  1. In SimRoutes, open Profile → Settings → About and tap the copy button next to App User ID.
  2. Email team@thesocialbutterflies.co with the subject “SimRoutes data deletion request” and paste your App User ID into the message.
  3. We’ll delete your data within 30 days and confirm by email. If you can’t find your App User ID, tell us the device and roughly when you installed the app and we’ll do our best to identify it.

What we delete

  • Your App User ID, an anonymous identifier the app creates on first launch, which includes a device identifier.
  • The customer record held by our purchase provider, RevenueCat: your App User ID, device identifier, Pro status and purchase history.
  • Any record of a free trial started from your installation.

What we keep

Apple and Google keep their own records of purchases made through the App Store and Google Play. We can’t delete those. Deleting your data removes our link between your purchase and your installation, so you may need to use Restore Purchases to get Pro back on a new install.

Data only you control

Your logbook, schedule, favourites and settings are stored on your device, and in your own iCloud or Google Drive if sync is on. We never receive them, so we can’t delete them for you. Uninstalling SimRoutes removes everything stored on the device, and Settings → Clear & Reset clears your flight data without uninstalling. Synced copies live in your own Apple or Google account. On Android you can remove them from Google Drive under Settings → Manage apps → SimRoutes → Delete hidden app data.
